Movement is a natural need of every child from the very first weeks of their existence. Even when asleep, babies constantly change their position in bed. We often call them little fidgets. All children are kinaesthetic by nature; ready to move at all times. In this way they release energy and express emotion. Also important is the fact that they learn new things this way. This is due to the network in the human neural system which combines perception with motor skills. The effectiveness of this depends on the level of involvement of all the senses during the learning process.
Could you sit still for 90 minutes in class? That's absolutely impossible! Thatis is why our method incorporates dancing, clapping, stamping, jumping, and mime. To diversify every class and to get all the students immersed in activities, we mix static exercises with motion ones.
Motion is not only an excellent tool for memorising but also develops imagination and creativity. Children cope perfectly with describing concepts by gesture, even highly abstract ones.
