The moment when 6-year-olds start their education and continue it in early school is a perfect one for getting fully involved in learning English. At this stage, children’s minds are particularly receptive, and life energy is at its highest, and bonds among peers are very strong. Exploiting this ideal moment for acquiring fresh knowledge and accepting new challenges, we launch the rocket and take off.
The courses for children aged 6-9 are based on an intensive teaching syllabus that focuses on acquiring a rich vocabulary base and the ability to communicate in English.
Children at this stage develop listening comprehension, global reading, and writing skills as well as, given more time, free, casual conversation. With our superpowers, described here, each class captures and engages students’ attention to the maximum. Progress is continuously monitored: with the 6-year-olds via natural assessment during classes; in early school groups, through tests, quick quizzes and exams. By checking progress, we can be sure that education at Early Stage is very effective.
Classes for 6-year-olds and early school students are conducted in groups according to age and language level. The number of participants is fine-tuned to ensure proper class dynamics. At the same time, it allows for a careful addition of a new student to the team if needed. Newcomers are assessed through a qualifying interview plus a test and admitted only after a meticulous check of their language level. This way class lists do not undergo constant changes, which ensures an even language level and continuous learning progress.
Parents will be informed about the child’s progress through:
· continuous contact with the teacher
· semester reports
· descriptive assessment
