After the summer holiday marathon, children enter yet another stage of school education. Equipped with knowledge, experience, ideas and imagination, they are open to new possibilities. They become more self-reliant, more independent, and more focused on dynamic development. Consistent English study propels them to a higher rate of progress, right into the zone of free, casual conversation and Cambridge Exams.
The courses designed for children aged 10-14 are the continuation of previous educational steps at Early Stage. The comprehensive syllabus and ambitious teaching tools develop students’ fluent communication skills in English. Additionally, with the employment of school superpowers, the students prepare for Cambridge Exams at different levels: Movers, Flyers, Key for Schools, and Preliminary for Schools. The classes take place in same age groups, streamed according to different levels of linguistic competence. The students’ learning progress is continuously monitored through tests, quick quizzes and exams. This way we are sure that education at our school is brilliantly effective.
Having an appropriate number of students in the Early Stage groups works towards active communication. The right size group allows for an appropriate pace during class and creates space for the teacher’s original projects, which otherwise would be difficult to manage in smaller teams. With the perfect class line up, the group remains solid, and potential newcomers go through special assessment. In this way, ties between the children are constantly strengthened, and the language level in consecutive years is well-balanced.
Parents will be informed about the child’s progress through:
• continuous contact with the teacher
• mid-semester reports – 2 per year
• descriptive assessments – 2 per year
• Cambridge Exam Reports (Key for Schools, Preliminary for Schools) – 3 per year
